New TigerShark UAS expands capabilities of Mississippi State University's (MSU) Raspet Flight Research Laboratory
Raspet’s purchase of the two TigerShark aircraft—built by NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corporation—along with associated radio and computer equipment, represents a total investment of approximately $2 million, and will substantially increase Raspet’s UAS core flight research capabilities. The TigerShark’s cost is covered in part by grant funding from federal research projects aimed at making UAS safer.
