The Avionics Mount

 is a generic mount used for soft mounting the Piccolo Avionics. Many flight hours have proven its ability to dampen engine vibration with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. The dampener foam is a closed cell silicone rubber foam, that retains its material dampening properties from -50º to 200ºC. The bottom plate of the mount is oversized to allow easy custom mounting within the aircraft. Carbon-Fiber brackets are provided which allow mounting of the Piccolo unit in either of two orientations. After the Avionics Mount is installed, the Piccolo Avionics is easily removed with (8) machine screws. For more information on mounting, see the Piccolo Avionics Mount drawing.
