The growing use of ground vehicles

is providing a wide range of tools that improve mission performance and greatly increase safety for the operators. Civilian uses for law enforcement and post disaster support will prove valuable in the near term. Cloud Cap Technology provides a range of products that support these vehicles:

Inertial Sensor Products:

The Navigator GPS/INS provides a robust, small, integrated solution providing a complete attitude solution needed by the vehicle control CPU. Leveraging the Piccolo and TASE products, the Navigator provides a mature GPS/INS solution.
Crista IMUs provide a low cost, high reliability solution for integrators needing calibrated raw inertial data for their systems. Both packaged unit and solder-down options available.

Stabilized Camera Gimbals:

The TASE100 small stabilized camera gimbal provides a 1 lb, 2 axis stabilized solution that could be mounted on an extended robotic arm or pole to provide stabilized real time video.
For larger vehicles that have extendable towers to provide the ability to look over walls or to provide a quick area surveillance capability, there are a range of multi-camera TASE gimbals providing stabilized imagery and multi-spectral fused imagery.

Autopilots:

With a complete set of sensors applicable to ground vehicles, the Piccolo autopilot system could be updated with control law implementations applicable to ground vehicles, providing a highly integrated control environment.
