About Us

Cloud Cap Technology Inc. (CCT) was established in 1999 for the purpose of providing highly integrated software and hardware solutions for the emerging Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market. CCT introduced its first product, the Piccolo autopilot system, in the summer of 2002. Since then the Piccolo family of products has been expanded to include the PiccoloPlus (2004), Piccolo II (2005), and Piccolo LT (2006).

Expanding into the larger inertial sensor and payload markets, CCT introduced the Crista IMU and Crista Sensor Head (2004) and most recently the TASE stabilized camera gimbal (2006). CCT continues to develop innovative solutions for the UAV market with new options for autopilots, gimbals, and inertial sensors in work.

CCT efforts focus on supporting developers of small unmanned aerial vehicles by providing powerful integrated solutions that dramatically reduce the time required to implement an unmanned aircraft system.

The CCT Team is composed of a group of highly motivated engineers and technicians with over 90 years of combined experience in the UAS field. Our facility is located in Hood River, Oregon an hour east of Portland in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.
